I designed campus signage and revamped the College of Education website. Sacramento State University (November 2002–September 2005) I frequently worked directly with printers, requesting job quotes, performing press checks when needed and providing vendors with print-ready artwork. I designed such things as wine labels, press kits, booklets, coupons, advertisements, posters, packaging, maps, CDs, t-shirts, store displays and a variety of other point-of-sale items. I was part of a creative team that was responsible for designing all the marketing collateral in the United States for Vincor, a Canadian-based wine distributor. I designed and managed, from concept to print, a plethora of projects ranging from company catalogs to entire product line launches and just about every kind of supporting marketing collateral imaginable. With high expectations and nearly impossible deadlines, my creative and project management skills were definitely put to the test. As lead designer, and most of the time the only designer for the fastest growing company in Austin, I experienced it all. Projects included exhibit design, logos, branding, internal and external promotional programs, email blasts, microsites, pURLs, posters, catalogs, booklets, infographics, signage, billboards, magazine ads and direct mail campaigns. Along with many other accounts, I worked on a regular basis with such high-profile brands as Kodak, Hitachi and Protection 1, providing a variety of creative through print, web, digital and interactive media.
